The seal was broken
This seal was set in place many years ago. By the ancestors of the people in the kingdom today. It was to ensure those trapped inside could do no more harm but it had weaken with age. Now those trapped inside the seal are free to roam once again.
Demons then escaped
Fowl creatures who believe they are better then mortals. Who are much more powerful in strength and superior senses. These creatures look very much like any normal human but upon closer inspection they are far from mortal. Each have their own special powers but share the same cold blooded harshness.
with their powerful leader
Once he ruled the kingdom before he was sealed. Now he has returned with his eyes set on revenge. Once again the kingdom is his to do as he please. No one can touch him for he is more powerful then ever.
Who then made all humans
Humans run in fear of the demons that now walk their lands. They are frightened of the creatures who seem to carry no remorse for their actions to suffering. Everything the humans knew has been turned upside down as death and torture now surround them.
And their allies slaves
Even the demons who appear to have animal traits like cat ears or dog. They had helped the humans but now share the same fate. Force to be slaves to their new demons masters.
