Appearance(50 words minimum):
Indecision is a tawny German Shepherd mongrel with dark umber fur creeping along his back and around his stomach. It’s consists of such a dark hue, many claim it’s actually an ebony black. These coarse bristles are short and silky, despite his lack of grooming skills. In fact, one can discern a smooth wave of curls running along his sleek coat. Underneath this lustrous exterior, his powerful muscles literally ripple beneath his fur as he sprints. The rest of his pelt consists of a tanned tint, which can flash as dark as gold with canary flecks.
He is also rather large and imposing in demeanor. Unfortunately, this added brawn does not improve his clumsy state. His somewhat slender legs are awkwardly poised, much like a young pup on unsteady feet. A swishing, puffy tail droops behind, hanging limp. The ears atop his square muzzle stand erect without swiveling.
Personality(150 words):
True to his name, Indecision is frequently indecisive. He also has a habit to be lazy, forgetful, and impatient. While these unwanted traits tend to mar his kind and caring personality, he is a wonderful canine deep down. As for his namesake, he often has difficulty making his own decisions. Even with all the practice he’s had when he was a pup, he is still greatly influenced by other parties simply because he can’t make up his own mind. Not understanding the right choice, he often lands himself in trouble he could never imagine.
As most canines tend to deny, he prefers to lounge in the shade than perform his duties for the pack. Although he is a swift, deadly warrior and appreciates that, he labors to fetch things or hunt prey. Unfortunately, many view his indolence as disobedience. For this reason, he’s not regarded highly in the eyes of his pack mates. Even worse, he has a shrewd tendency to forget things. Many issues – no matter how crucial – seem to slip his mind.
Another unwanted characteristic of his is impatience. Waiting for things to occur is pure agony for him. Along with this impatience, he feels inclined to pace about, occasionally whining about the length it takes for tasks to be completed. However, he has a very kind nature. Friends are doggedly sought, while enemies are preferably non-existent.
History:
Indecision had a great start, having been born into a prospective family. His parents were confident he would have an equally wonderful future. They were also the best of canines, with slender, muscular frames and strong senses for detection. They were the most skilled hunters, the most elite warriors. Their pups were determined to be the best of all litters. Everything for them was hopeful.
However, that all changed in an instant (now isn’t that the way things always turn out?). While their pack was strong and powerful, this caused many other packs to fear they would target them next. In order to potentially prevent this, they banded together to drive them out of the lands. This occurred precisely a week after Indecision’s birth as the elder of his siblings.
When the other pack attacked, his mother, Aravine, was too exhausted to resist. Meanwhile his father, Coroner, was at the lead of the force responsible for protecting the pack and had died an honorable death. Indecision and his littermates, Cherry and Touché, were thankfully rescued by another pack member. Unfortunately, during the tumult that ensued, Indecision was released from the other canine’s grip and plunged to the ground, now littered with bits of sharp debris. In fact, many suggest that his memory loss could have been triggered by this fall. Once again, he was rescued and managed to sift through the pieces of his now broken life, no longer a prospective and hopeful one.
