I. Fallen Raven

Surprisingly, I'm also somewhat proud of this. Yes, I know there's this odd glow around her legs... The blending and smudging of the wings are my favorite!
This was made for my own amusement. I obviously have little sense of humor.

II. Crystal Beauty

This is definitely not my best. Why? Because I was the one who created it (obviously). The wings are ugly because I drew them in. From scratch. (I must remind myself never to do that again.)
This was made for my site. (Which tells you a lot about the site's quality.)

III. Flame Stalker

The wings blending into the wolf's shoulders are pretty bad. But otherwise it's mediocre quality. That's about all I have to say.
This was made for a friend who wants it for another site's banner. Aren't I a nice (OK, maybe not really) friend?

You know, they say some of the worst things you can do other than take criticism the wrong way is to become your own worst critic. All in all though, I really don't quite catch the things you pointed out. It's all beautiful and so florescent.

As for the wings you drew in, you could have done worse for starting from scratch. Maybe next time you could try doing a lay out sketch of the wings in pencil and move it around till you think the angle looks more natural. Course drawing like that tends to take a lot of time..and not too mention a lot of retracing. You're probably more of a digital drawer anyways.^^;;;;

Otherwise I love that one the most.^~^ The green and blue really appeals to my senses.
