``the pure bloods

The Pure Bloods are a pack of canines with no wolfish connections whatsoever. These are 'domesticated' canines only. They hate the United Pack even more than they hate the Hu'li Wolf Pack. They believe that they are better than wolves and wolf hybrids because they come in different sizes and breeds, and they do not believe in the wolf's 'false' religion (even though theirs is exactly the same, minus the wolves). They talk big and make big threats, but all in all the Pure Bloods are just snooty and cruel, however they will take slaves if any wolf or wolf hybrid is caught in Pure-Blood territory.

``the hu'li wolf pack

The Hu'li Wolf pack are spiritual and peaceful. They believe that their destinies are controlled by their ancestors who watch over them through the plants and animals on the island. They resent the Pure-Bloods for their odd, self enlightened beliefs and their prejudiced against wolves, but regard it as nothing more than a slight annoyance. They accept the Wolf hybrids as their kin, but no hybrid has ever come to join them, and no Pure Blood ever will. So the Hu'li's are pure wolf.

The Untied Pack was created when the dmesticated canines came to the island by some mysterious force. At first the Hu'li believed that they were invaders but soon many of the Hu'li females that were available for mating with either died in birthing or were barren. So the males found mates within the newcomers and created a pack filled with both kinds of canines. They distance themselves from the Hu'li pack because of their superstitious ways, and despise the Pure Bloods for their haughty beliefs. They are peaceful, but can fight and are not a force to challenge.
