It led to meeting others, and he tended to avoid that. Utsi, obviously was not the kind to socialize, outside of situations where it was deemed extremely necessary. Currently, he was slumped over the edge of the small pool, staring somewhat listlessly at the waterfall as it cascaded to the water below. Every now and then, a splash would reach him, dappling hsi grey coat with spatters of dark spots.
A sigh found itself bursting from his chest and after it was released he wondered idley what it had been for. He had no reason to be sighing, that he could think of anyway. He glanced around him, flopping against the earth until his head almost brushed the water. Touge would loll out to lap at the cool water slowly, before brainbox turned to look around him once again. Perhaps he should hunt a little? So his packmates would think of him as a productive hunter instead of that quivering wimp in the coner. Another sigh would break from him, before he stood.
"Alone again. When will you ever grow up Usti?!" He scolded himself quietly, knowing he acted like a fool. It was easy to say he knew that he had to change, and he said it quite often when he was alone. It was hard however to say anything when he felt as if ants had crawled up inside him, and stares made him want to run away. Once the nerves overtake him, there is no turning back. He shook his head again, and shuffled toward the surrounding area. sniffing softly. However, his arrival here had been anything but quiet, and whatever that had been here was long gone.
Haunches collided with the earth, rump hitting the ground with a dull thud. Tail wrapped around petite paws, before he continued to stare at the water again. Such was the life of Nervous Utsi.

The warm air was all around, making Hail uncomfortable. This is why she went to the waterfall. The cool water seemed to make the air humid, but cool enough to protect from the heat. At times, she often wondered why the waterfall's cold air could just engulf the entire area. But then, her logical side would kick in and think of the exact reason. The waterfall was too small.
However, this never stopped her from entering the area. In fact, it put a certain tranquility in her being. It calmed her, even more so than she already was. This peace had eventually left as she smelt the scent of another wolf. With a curious glaze in her eyes, she continued walking in the direction toward the waterfall. She'd find out who it was in a soon enough time.
Just as she entered the waterfall's cool air, she heard the wolf's voice. It didn't make much sense to her, there was no other around the area except for herself. Unless.. the wolf was talking to her. Hail quickly excluded that thought. It was impossible, she wasn't even close to being near the wolf in order for it to know she was there.
Soon, a flash of pale tans and browns appeared in her vision. Without a seconds though, she concluded that this was Usti. The poor thing was agitated, she could tell. He had finally sat down, and so she decided to make her appearance.
"If you want to grow up, then grow up."
Her voice was steady and unfeeling, as always. It held a tone, one that secretly suggested that it was easy to grow up. Of course, for Hail it was easy. She had grown up when she still a wolf in training, so she never thought that it'd be hard for others.

So consumed in himself as he was, brute had failed to notice the arrival of Hail, another of his packmates. Her words were sharp, and quick something he hadn't expected.
Head whipped around, lowering in automatic submission. Body followed, slinking a bit away from her arrived position. This poor boy took nerves to the extreme. His heart beat a mile a minute, limbs quaking with the surprise of her arrival, and the sharp subtly harsh form her words had taken as they peirced his brain.
"It..it's not that...eee...easy"
Pale eyes stayed locked upon the female's figure as he eased himself once again into a sitting position, though if one were to look closely, they could see the tremors of muscles. How he wished he had her iron control, the vice that inflicted fear into others. The will that would allow him to stroll where ever he liked and say whatever came to his mind. To be able to function normally, that was unobtainable. Semi-normal was however, and he could try.
"Y...your nnot the....nnner..nervous.. one"
Eyes closed, breath being drawn in deeply before lids would pull themselves back again. Step one - have a conversation. He could so with. He could do this. Another look at the seemingly unfeeling female left him, back at the start. He couldn't do this.

However, she did not acknowledge it. Instead she sat beside him, and stared out at the water. The cold air seeped into her fur and touched her skin. Hail moved her head towards the wolf as he began to reply to her.
"And how is it not easy?" she questioned, semi curious.
She continued watching him as he sat down, trembles rushing through his body every once in a while. She noticed his figure was still lowered, and his anxiety was sky rocketing. Despite this, she kept quiet, listening to him.
"Why would I be nervous? I have nothing to fear of you." She stated, confident in her statement. With a examining look drifting on him, she couldn't help but ask, "Why are you nervous?"
She gave Usti a moment to himself, and gazed back at the water. It was hypnotizing, and could easily dull a pup to sleep. There were no fish in sight, and the water was as pure and clear as could be. The waterfall trickled slowly, but surely. Hail herself even felt her body becoming heavy, begging to lay down. However, she refused to.
It took her a moment, before she started thinking he feared her. With another, almost strange look directed toward him, she questioned, "Are you afraid of me?"
