Both wolves didn't seem at all pleased with Charlies method. the gray she wolf did look impressed, but for about a fraction of a second but it was gone so quick he couldn't be sure. She immediately frowned. ”That’s pretty clever… for a dog.” He could tell by her face and the pause at the end that it wasn't a kind comment. Was this why they did not like him that much? He had been friendly, shared his kill, and his spirits not discouraged by their less than eager attitudes but this hurt him. They were prejudice against dogs. The other, Serial, as she had introduced herself, seemed lost in thought for a few moments before. Charlie wondered what she could be thinking about. His green eyes flicked back to the other as she began to speak. His eyes widened even more than they had the first time. Dusk, alpha of the Hu'li, and Serial, alpha of the United pack. Two alphas. And they didn't like him all that much. Ei, this isn't good. He thought. the rest of Dusk sentence didn't interest him. He didn't really believe in all that mumbo jumbo the wolves were all about, but there was no way she here that aloud from him. When she finished Charlie stood and dipped his head. Alphas, He said slowly. It is a... honer to meet you. He didn't want to say pleasant. My name is Charlie. I am a loner.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=9933cc] Serial heard Dusk speak her introduction. She didn't care much for it, since she drifted from religion of those proportions. Really, it was all just mumbo jumbo, right? Serial surely believed so.
The loner's introductions were next. He was nervous, she could tell. It was hilarious to her. The dog, Charlie, had a right to be anxious in front of two Alphas for they seemed to cast an intimidating presence. But, seriously? Serial had the urge to laugh, and did so. Her laugh wasn't a wonderful thing to hear, nor was it deafening. It sounded more like a mixture of heaving and barking.
"Charlie, you don't need to be so formal. Here, we're all just canines with no rank. In our territories though, that's another story." She spoke out, with a touch of humor at the end.
For a moment, she paused to let anyone else speak. She didn't really see any reason, but everyone had their opinions, she supposed. She took this time to mule over her thoughts, once again. Should she speak of her idea? What would Charlie think? Would he go to the Pure Bloods and tell them about it? Serial glanced at the loner with a distrusting stare. If he did, she'd personally have to kill him.
What would Dusk think? Would she actually take to the idea of it, or would she simply pass the opportunity by? Surely she wouldn't be that idiotic to. This was a great chance to destroy a threat. And what would her pack think? It was their opinions that mattered the most. Yes, they would follow under Serial any moment, but would they actually take to life being allied with Hu'li?
"Dusk," She spoke, ignoring anything formal. She walked a bit closer to the wolf, but keeping far enough for comfort. "What would you think of a sort of alliance between our two packs?"

Dusk knew she should not have stepped out into the daylight, especially since that was the time when the malicious Sola would block out the pure, vivacity of the beautiful Luna. But this time, the stars weren’t right. They hung in a position that signaled that mingling amongst others was not a good choice. But Dusk had ignored these omens. And she had deserted the safety and comfort of her den to venture out in search of a sacrificial delicacy. And she had greatly regretted doing such a rash thing. For now, she was faced with communicating with a deaf, naïve loner and a spunky, bragging alpha, who seemed too brash to maintain her position. So why was Dusk even considering an alliance with her pack?
The loner simply radiated respect. However, none of that seemed to be aimed at her. The expression on his face clearly demonstrated doubt. He actually defied the power of the heavens. What nerve. Meanwhile, the other alpha appeared none too impressed either. She seems to be enjoying herself, at the very least, she regarded the alpha with disgust. The United she-wolf’s face was lively and amused. This amusement only intensified when the loner, shaking with fear, stuttered out a response. So it’s Charlie, she mused. He was quivering now. At this, Serial burst out in a fit of mocking laughter, a shriek that sounded like a cross between a dying deer and an insane hyena. Dusk shot her a reproaching glance.
Serial threw in another of her endless comments. A very shocking one, this. It probed and challenged Dusk’s hard-earned title. In a low growl she snarled, “Indeed? ‘Canines with no rank’? I’ll have you know that I’m the most powerful and wise wolf in the land! Now then, you are the rank-less one!” After this strong outburst, she simmered down a little. Her veins, previously crimson with rage, had lessened as well. Her temper cool, she waited for Serial’s next words.
Finally, the other alpha spoke. She must have been slightly insane to have attempted to start a conversation when Dusk was still in fuming mode. With a jolt of surprise, however, Serial suddenly queried about the very alliance she had been pondering earlier, thereby confirming her beliefs on the other alpha’s sanity. Her anger finally subsided, she echoed doubtfully, ”’An alliance’? Well, I suppose, but… I first require knowledge on your reliability in maintaining this alliance.” Dusk’s twisted smile broadened at this jibe at Serial’s honesty and pride.
