Serial Cluckos; Alpha of The United Pack
___________________________________
The day was just starting, with the sun's fiery blazes not even close to touching the dark sky that was currently dominating. Stars still littered the sky, while the dark blue hue slowly grew lighter. Serial could care less about it, though.
She sighed, sitting on the grass that grew all over The Clearing. This morning she had been rudely awakened by a flock of birds screeching outside. She had already chased them off, but they left a mark on her already rotting mood. At times, she wished she could just take all the annoyances in the world and shove them to the afternoon, instead of morning.
"Those fluggers," Serial cursed. "Just had to m'ke me day wo'se." Her words were harsh, yet kept soft in the murmur her sentence was. She blinked a couple times, still tired.
The wind's breeze was slow, and swept through her fur. It was calming to her, having something soft but not solid touch you. Like a feather's touch. Feathers reminded Serial of birds, making her mood turn back to sour. It was getting better, but at her mind's mention of feathers, it brought back those little pests. And pests plus Serial equaled death to pests.
Serial took a couple sniffs of the air. The air smelt of her pack; a scent that was like home. It warmed her heart to know that The United Pack was thriving here. Serial would never let anything happen to her pack, even if it meant for her sacrifice. She would keep this place protected under her watchful eyes at all times.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad340/Toki_Graphix/Regular%20PT/Isabelle---Siberian-Husky-2.png] Isabelle emerged from the Delta's den, blinking the rest of the sleep our of her chocolate colored optics. The gray and white fae's maw spread open in a wide yawn, her sharp white fangs catching the glint of the morning sun. She then stretched her forelimbs forward, with her chest touching the ground, and her rump in the air. Then, using her front legs, she lifted herself up, while her back legs, along with her back, stretched out behind her. Standing up straight once again on all four paws, she gave her pelt one good vigorous shake, then scanned the clearing.
Pricking her lobes slightly forward, and lifting her nares slightly in the air; Isabelle surveyed her surroundings. She could smell the familiar comforting scent of her pack around her, and if she listened hard enough, she could hear them snoring inside their nests as well; sleeping the early morning away. She could also pick up the smells of dew on the grass, and hear the stirrings of other creatures as they began their day. "Those fluggers, just had to m'ke me day wo'se." The hybrid quickly snapped her head in the direction to pinpoint the source of the noise, only to find her alpha sitting alone in the clearing.
Her words were harsh, but the softness with which she murmured them contradicted it, therefore taking out any sting towards whoever-or whatever-she was cursing at. With her eyes glimmering in amusement, Isabelle trotted her way over to Serial. Once she reached her, the young female bowed her head in the formal greeting of an Delta to an Alpha, and proceeded to speak. "Good morning mistress," Isabelle greeted her warmly, giving her a blinding smile and wagging her tail. "What were you just cursing at that has you annoyed on this fine morning?" Izzy asked, letting a bit of her Italian accent slip through.

Serial Cluckos; Alpha of The United Pack
___________________________________
The voice had startled Serial for a moment. She didn't necessarily pay attention to her surroundings, resulting in her scare. With her right ear perked and eyes alert, Serial glanced towards the direction of the voice. She visibly relaxed when she saw it was one from the pack, Delta Isabelle.
Her head remained facing the direction of Isabelle. A small smile was coaxed onto her face. She still didn't feel up to talking, but chose to ignore that. Why would she, the Alpha of her pack, ignore a subordinate? She always did like subordinate wolves.
"Hello to you too, Delta Isabelle." She greeted in return. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth, revealing a mashed and saliva coated flower. "Its nothin' really," She began. Serial didn't want to push her reasons onto a pack member, but chose to be honest. "Just those foul feathered prey decided to come and w'ke me up early today." She struggled to keep her speech to a more understandable point for Isabelle.
A small itch soon began to reveal itself on Serial's head, and soon grew to a larger itch. A rumble of irritation come out of her muzzle. Leaning her chest a little to the ground and lifting one powerful hind leg, she scratched the itch until it left. When she stopped scratching, it left a small and fading burning feeling.
Without thinking, words slipped out of Serial's mouth. Her voice sounded a little snappy, and her eyes were glazed over with some annoyance. "What's g't you so 'appy, Delta Isabelle? Are you 'appy today fo' no reason, or jus' glad to see your Alpha?" The smile disappeared when she realized she had said that. She hesitated, before apologizing. "Sorry for that, I'm just not in the grea'ess of moo's." She spit out.

[ooc: I'm totally throwing Jaeden in on this, hope ya don't mind ^^] The stars were still out, hanging promptly in the sky when Jaeden first opened his eyes. he could see the sky starting to lighten though, so it had to be morning. he blinked sleepily, looking around him. He suddenly realized that he wasn't in his den. He was still laying on stone, but that of the wrong color. His eyes widened a bit, looking around at all the red. He must still be at the Canyon. He quickly jumped up to his feet, looking around. How could he still be here? Didn't he go back to camp last night? Well apparently not, considering he was still here. Ears flattened against the back of his skull, trying to remember why he had slept here instead of his own den.
It only took him a second to remember. he hadn't planned on sleeping here. This place was just so beautiful in his eyes. He felt the need to come ere so often. Yesterday he had stopped by, and just curled up on one of the rocks, letting the sun beat down on his back. he must have fallen asleep. Still, that was a rather long time. None the less, a yawn escaped his mouth, and he licked his lips. He probably should be heading back. he could be missing something important.
After stretching, the maned wolf took off in the direction of his new found home. As nice as the United Pack lands were, he never really felt at home in them. Or around any of the other canine really. Never felt like he belonged. He loved pack life, sure, but it didn't have that same feeling of freedom as he had when he was a loner. He didn't have to hunt as much though, and there was always someone to talk to, which was great. Being alone sucked, no doubt about it, and Jaeden truly hated it. Canine were friendly enough, but he still had an uneasy feeling in the back of his head. Like they were all judging him or something. It was probably just paranoia, but it did make him look at people differently.
Walking into the clearing, voices instantly were herd. Jay's large ears perked up, standing tall, and started ease dropping. Call it a bad habit, but he liked listening to a conversation before butting in. His brown eyes watched the two hybrids for a bit, but when he found his chance, he decided to slip up, a sly grin on his thin muzzle. "And why is that, love?" he asked, attention drawn towards his alpha. "Just because of some measly birds? Pft, you can't let those filthy things get to ya." He still held a bright smile on his face as he spoke to Serial. Jaeden's attention switched over to Isabelle a second later. "And how are you doing today darling?" he might have been a little to chipper for the time of day, but he really didn't care. "In a better mood than our fearless leader I hope." He flashed a bright grin at Isabelle as well, his ears still perked up as he spoke.[/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad340/Toki_Graphix/Regular%20PT/Isabelle---Siberian-Husky-2.png] The gray and white hybrid saw that she had startled her leader when she spoke up, but she saw that her leader had relaxed instantly when Serial saw it was her. Isabelle saw that Serial gave her a small smile, and wagged her tail once again, in return. "Hello to you too, Delta Isabelle." Isabelle's eyes glimmered in slight amusement when her Alpha's tongue lolled out to the side, and there was a mashed up flower resting on the pink surface. But, the young fae wasn't surprised; she was completely used to Serial's quirky habits.
"Its nothin' really, just those foul feathered prey decided to come and w'ke me up early today." The femora couldn't help giving her Mistress a sympathetic glance; she knew that the fae worked really hard, trying to make sure the pack was running smoothly, and everyone's needs were met. "I'm sorry to here that Serial."Suddenly, a growl of irritation slipped from the leader's maw, and for a second, Isabelle was confused. Then she understood why her leader was irritated; she had a scratch.
Scratching until she seemed satisfied, Izzy watched as Serial turned to her, and without warning said, "What's g't you so 'appy, Delta Isabelle? Are you 'appy today fo' no reason, or jus' glad to see your Alpha?" With her eyes shimmering with annoyance through her whole tirade. As a result, Izzy's ears flattened back against her skull in surprise, and she bowed her head a little, wondering what she did to upset her Alphaess. But, before she could apologize, her alpha opened her mouth to speak again, and Izzy flinched back, expecting another bashing.
"Sorry for that, I'm just not in the grea'ess of moo's." But, before Isabelle could reply, a voice spoke up, and the fae started at the sound. Turning around, she saw Jaeden walking up to them. "And why is that, love? Just because of some measly birds?
Pft, you can't let those filthy things get to ya." Turning back to Serial, Izzy nodded her head in agreement. "Jaeden is right Mistress, you can't let them get to you. Maybe if things slow down later on, you can take a nap to make up for the sleep that you lost?" "And how are you doing today darling?
In a better mood than our fearless leader I hope." It took Isabelle a moment to notice that Jay was talking to her. She turned to him with a smile gracing her maw; glad to see someone else besides herself in a good mood this morning. Being so caught up in her happiness, Izzy let a bit of her Italian tongue slipped when she spoke to him. "Sto facendo bene, la ringrazio Jaeden. Cosa su di te?"
Then, realizing her mistake, Isabelle gave Jaeden a sheepish look, and transfered back over to english. "Sorry about that. Anyway, I'm doing well, thank you. What about you? And it's too beautiful of a morning not to be in a good mood."

Serial Cluckos; Alpha of The United Pack

At Jaeden's arrival, Serial had rid of her sour mood. It was lingering, but was for the most part was gone. She responded to him with a slight playful tone in her voice and a body that was relaxed. "And apparently you're a mornin' person." She titled her a head a bit. "But you both are 'ight. I jus' can't help it. Though, I think I'll stay up."
As the two mingled, Serial looked back at the sky. it was much lighter out now, much to her liking. The sun was just above the horizon, casting a beautiful sunrise. Soon enough, Serial stood up and went closer to the den site. She wanted to be in more shade than sunlight when the sun was highest. It was summer after all, the hottest season of all. And she had thick fur.
When Isabelle had spoken to Jaeden in her native tongue, Serial flashed a smile of amusement. Isabelle was known to do that at times, and it amused Serial to no end. Even if she didn't understand what her pack mate had said.
After what Isabelle had said, she felt that she had to cut in. "That may be true that this is a good morning, but I think the evening will be even better." It was her personal opinion really, but she couldn't help but say that. Now that she was closer to the shade, she sat down once again. She'd do more active work when the day was more active and alive. But for now, she'd relax.

Jaeden's ears perked up as Isabelle spoke after him, speaking back to Serial. His brown eyes looked at the hybrid for a brief moment, before looking back at his leader, his head giving a slight nod. As she called him a morning person, he couldn't help but let a bark of laughter slip from his muzzle. "It is a rare occasion, but sometimes the mornings are just so great they perk you up." His tail swayed a little behind him. On a normal day, he would still be curled up in his den, sleeping the day away. This wasn't your average day though. A smile was again on his face as Serial addressed both Deltas. "Good. Maybe it will set ya in a better mood." His attention had moved to Isabelle, but he had noticed his alpha's movement. He actually enjoyed the sun, and the heat. But then again, he had a thin coat, and his body was built to be out in the heat. She did have a rather thick coat, so he couldn't say that he blamed her for moving. Bewilderment spread across Jaeden's face as Isabelle spoke to him in a language he did not understand in the least bit. He just stared at her with a blank face, and blinked twice. "Lovely voice darling, but I would actually like to know what those words meant." He did enjoy the Italian language, and found it extremely pretty, but he would like to know what was said to him. The only word he had picked out of that sentence was his name, but that really didn't help all to much. Her sheepish look made him smile, he couldn't help it. He was thankful that she then transferred back over to English. "I am doing fantastic," he said, his voice sounded rather cheery. His looked over to Serial as she spoke, and he shook his head. "Nah, the mornings are better. The sun is out, and shining brightly. Not to mention how good it feels beating down on your back..." He trailed off, looking up towards the sky. He was indeed a canine who enjoyed the heat. He found it more realizing. His eyes went back to the hybrid, and noticed again that she had moved to the shade. He followed, but stayed in the sun. He sat down, his tail swishing around his legs.[/blockquote]
